Has anyone had problems where alt tabbing causes your game to stutter after tabbing back in? Like my fps will drop from >100 down to 60 and shoot back up causing constant stutters if I alt tab a lot. my arena is really fucked up rn. i have now tried entering 8 matches and each time, no matter what is different or the same, I get to the loading presets screen after choosing my preset, freeze for 2 or 3 minutes, and then i load in and my game disconnects with the "Anticheat connection failed" error. When I try reconnecting to the lobby, I just keep getting a server timed out/disconnection error like I would if my internet shat itself. I did the first 3 of these matches on the first install of the game, then verified my files and tried like two more, which obviously didn't fix shit. I uninstalled and reinstalled battleye, ran another one and it happened again, my last few matches have been after uninstalling and reinstalling the game and nothing has fixed it. what do I do and am i cooked 😭

I actually just got a 12 hour ban from the arena for cutting my losses and not even trying to rejoin soo wtf. Also I just realized there was a regions tab in the settings and just put myself on exclusively the NA servers to fix it

Ive got a question regarding performance issues. I have a ryzen 9 5900x at 4.3ghz an rtx 3070ti along with 32gb of ddr4 at 3200 Mhz i notice while playing my gpu is almost never utilized at 0% meanwhile my cpu is at 30-40% roughly and i get somewhere around the ball park of 70-90 frames. Does anyone else keep having bsod when playing tarkov? I continisouly get page fault in non paged area blue screen. IT is only when playing tarkov. I've been getting atrocious FPS on the new customs. Haven't played in a few months and just started playing PVE again. I have an i-7 7700K 4.2 GHz , an RTX 2070 and 16 gb of RAM. If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

After uninstall / reinstall I was still getting the error. I let it sit on the "Updating...." screen for like an hour and tarkov finally loaded. When it loaded I got some sort of auth error and it booted me out. I started tarkov again and it loaded up normal

I'm still looking for help if anyone has a solution. I just got a new pc, downloaded the battlestate launcher, click install for EFT, select my location, hit install again, then nothing ever happens. The install button never goes away to a progress bar and is immediately clickable.

Since the latest update, I've been having issues with RAM usage. The game now uses 23–25 GB of my 32 GB, even when it's the only app running. If I open a browser or anything else, Tarkov often crashes with an "Out of Memory" error. Sometimes, both monitors go black, and the PC even restarts.

This seems to be related to memory handling on the client side, possibly a memory leak. It only started happening after the recent update. Would appreciate it if you could look into it — the game has become pretty unstable because of this.

its a pretty simple app to free up ram thats not being used, the setup is pretty easy and theres tons of guides on tarkov subreddit
