there is no reason for you to use more vram than needed with reasonable texture and res settings. your cpu is a bottlenecking factor and your 1070ti is being under used due to that and unideal settings.

If still not go here

And first back up these ini files by copying them to another folder on the desktop.

Try deleting graphics.ini first and try again, then delete the rest if you still have the problem.

If this doesn't fix the problem please paste the files you backed up to replace the files that took their place in that folder.

it's actually insane. the current state of tarkov is so bad. constant head eyes through a mile of trees and bushed by "invisible players", perfect nades. Yeah, purely organic gameplay.

I know this is hours later but did you figure out the issue? Just looking over your attachments the handguard on yours says "SWS N6 10" in your picture but the WiKi shows "SWS N6 Sp" and I believe there's 2 similar handguards. So I'd verify you're using the right one

since lighthouse was released, I've been experiencing performance issue with every map except for factory, from customs to woods to reserve and so on, I can barely manage 60 frames, and in certain cases it becomes even worse depending on where I'm at, on reserve, when I'm near hole in the wall, my frames jump to 70 fps sometimes hitting 80, but when I head to the chess buildings they instantly lower, sometimes hitting 40 or 30 frames, I don't know what could be the cause, but any insight could help, I have a 1660ti, an i7, and 16 gbs of ram

Quick question, so I haven't played this game in a long time. Got myself a new PC and I'm trying to play the game with my buddy but it seems to just crash every 2 to 5 minutes or so. I've got the following specs: OS: W11 Home - CPU: i7-13700F - GPU: RTX 4070 and 16 GB RAM. Does anyone know what I could do to fix these crashes? I tried verifying files, changing settings around, disabling fullscreen optimizations and my drivers are fully up-to-date.

Hello not sure if this is a bug or if I did something wrong. So I had the quest dangerous road which had me extract on streets through the Taxi and in the same raid I was doing Ambulances again which had me find a phone in one of the ambulances turn it in and extract from streets through the Taxi as well. As you can see it completed the dangerous road quest but not the ambulances again quest and ideas?

This could be the culprit. On other maps than Factory, RAM fills up considerably. I have 16 GB only as well and I have to close other programs (especially browser) before starting a raid. Otherwise the game would crash for me, even tho I have virtual memory allocated already.

What should that mean? RAM fills up during "Loading loot" on the load in screen, thus every map with loads of loot will want to have the RAM. If you are so sure it isnt the lacking RAM, feel free to keep troubleshooting instead of trying to run only the game without anything else open just once.

Well what I was trying to explain is that I used to run the game just fine on my older PC. On my new one which should run the game way easier it happens to constantly crash (It might be the extract locations as it happens when I get close to them). Same amount of RAM so that shouldn't be the problem. Also my friend with a worse PC and also just 16 GB RAM seems to run the game without any crashes.

Usually you get as soon as u have awaiting session to start, that little stuttering and then boom you are in.

I alt f4 got back and pressed reconnect as there was this option.
As i did the problem came again in, I had this time a "back" option on the bottom, and after 4 minutes but I have lost the character and 25 minutes Scav wait.
This has to be refunded by the game or just start introducing persistency in the game. Enough with this resetting thing... it's just a hamster wheel.

The stats at the end told me I covered 0.3 meters so maybe there could even be a bug between AI scav and Human scavs... It's yuour servers it's not the players.

Since last patches youy have also slowed down the charging of the loot items. Sometimes in game I don't see but the name, and the images take some time to load up (to speed it up I even have to go open the Inspect window)... as long as the game works it's good but this is a bit strange as it's a bit game breaking as you will be more glued on the materials checking and so on..

Anyway when you sell the game (alpha testing) you need to tell people need a Fiber Optic Connection and ADSL+ can be not be enough. But I think the problems are others.

Last days have items not loading properly and also today I have disconnections for bad quality connection during game which then a reconnect fix. It's BSG servers not our connections. I found a mini solution as sometimes reconnection failed.
The connection is powerful and responds well when I open the browser and launch a random test of 20mb download to see internet spead and upload speed.. like that the reconnection does not fail. Because it can fail or take forever and never connect like we were left out for Server decision.

There must be an issue in people that connect damaging the server pings or else.
Stop using VPNs.

Update the servers and net code.

The help page says to contact support in a bug report but the cause they will likely lead you to is a network configuration issue related to either lacking IPV6 totally (from your ISP, not on your local network) or you're on a dual stack lite connection from your ISP, and the game tends to only like regular dual stack.

My game crashes when I start it. I get to the first screen and it crashes. Sometimes it works and I can play fine. This issue appeared yesterday and before that I could play fine with no crashes.

I tried reinstalling the game, clear cache,integrity check,changing servers, updated the gpu drivers.
