No. This problem is almost always caused by a local device blocking DoS attacks, which the device thinks the pings are.

Most of the time it's a simple "block dos attacks" option in a router

at this point i wouldn't be counting on BSG to fix anything, i've tried defending them over the years but it's the same song and dance every wipe now. This is aimed directly at mods/devs/anyone who sees this who has the power to do a single damn thing about the game itself or put in a word to have it fixed, there's posts dating all the way back to December in the forums and I've already sent multiple bug reports and nothing has been done , I'm locked out of the entire streets quests like Audit and other quest chains due to this issue and it needs fixed rather then to be brushed off

@warm grotto basically i have 16 gb of memory, you can change pagefile size (it basically uses extra hard drive space as extra RAM just think of it like that ) and 1024 megabytes=1 gigabyte so 16 gigabytes=16384 megabytes, my computer was using 54,000 megabytes which comes out to 52.73 Gigabytes of RAM i would have needed to surive that memory leak lol

Hey all, wondering if anyone could help me.

You guys are probably not new to this, but I have just been having a hard time on Tarkov.

To put it bluntly, visuals.

I can't seem to just see ANYTHING whatsoever. I'm pretty computer saavy (not saying it egotistically) and I have pretty much tried damn near every setting and trick to get this game looking good enough to even play.

I play on 1080p settings. I've tried every combination of sharpening and setting, but it makes the game look terrible.

The only "somewhat" noticeable difference I have had is upscaling my display to 1440p. It kinda works, but makes the game a little blurry, and unfortunately when you upscale, any sort of sharpening doesn't help.

Kinda just lost at this point. I want to play the game, but I can't really do much. I have only been playing Customs because that is the most familiar map to me and it makes it hard to jump on other maps when you just can't see anything, no matter how slow and steady I take my raids.

Just need help, sorry if this was long. There has to be some sort of trick of the trade to get my game looking good so I can be able to see properly.

Specs:

CPU: AMD 5900x @ 4.5ghz
GPU: RTX 3070
RAM: 32 GB @ 3200mhz
Game is on a m.2 SSD of course.
Monitor: Asus PG259QN @ 360hz on 1080p, sometimes 1440p w/ upscaling.

Sorry, game is playable, graphics are just a pixelated mess with colors just everywhere. Post FX off just makes the game dull. I have my digital vibrance up to about 70%, helps a little bit. But, Post FX really just shines. Haven't really found a good medium.

TAA tends to make the game blurry, you see some sort of ghosting effect, and TAA High makes it considerably worse aswell. FXAA pretty Jaggy, just seems everything I am mentioning is really all down to personal preference (of course) and what works for them

Of course. Just when I get into a gunfight, or hear a potential scav or PMC, just locating them visually can be an eyesore.

From another pc that is not infected with malware please change your email's password and add 2 step verification on your email. Make sure there's no email forwarding nor backup emails added.
Then reset your tarkov password and reformat your main pc. (reformat optional but it's highly likely your main pc is infected with malware of some kind).

Ram goes to around 20-24k while trying to load into Streets of Tarkov map and then BSOD(blue screen) after. Second attempt to load back into raid doesn't give BSOD but black screens everything. Scoping in double renders the game due to how this works. If you are running at 1440p I would suggest using either DLSS or dropping to 1080p.

Tarkov keeps disabling my mic as i go into a raid or come out of one, doesnt happen 100% of the time but it only happens on tarkov and its a nuisance to keep fixing. I have to disable and reenable my mic to get it working again.

This is not something you can fix on your end. Your ISP might charge you extra per month for dual stack. Also, make sure you have an ipv6 connection on some "what is my IP" websites.

Biggest change you can do in order to achieve the highest FPS value is to configure your settings via NVIDIA/AMD Graphic Settings. If you have 16GB minimum, go on your bios and enable XMP. The XMP alone will give you a hell of a difference performance-wise. I can send you my settings if you want, but every setup will achieve different results.

I’m sorry to say this but from my research it seems like your motherboard doesn’t support XMP

If you have any other settings that could help tweaking your ram speeds to the max, that’d be your best bet.
