Hi guys, tarkov is installed on my M2 ssd. However in game, with low resolution, i'm experiencing freeze, low fps in action.
I opened the performance tool of windows, and I saw that my HDD went all the way to 100% when this occurs.

Why is my hdd used when tarkov is installed on M2 ?

Has anyone else had issues with streets? Every time i load into game, it freezes right before the countdown, and then i randomly spawn in anywhere from 5-10 seconds after the match starts, and then after i start to play, for the first 5-10 minutes of the game, its constant rubber banding? it seems like some of the other pmcs rubber band, and some dont? its only for streets that the freezing or rubber banding happens on

Yes, with the current memory leaks in game at the moment, its behaving in strange ways, unless you have like 64gb or ram you are likely to experience issues with it using all of it. Downloading and using ISLC has helped my game... i no longer get stuttering or crashing

as long as the paging file is set up correctly along side this and graphic settings are dropped ever so slightly 🙂

If you have bad HDD and you move the game on other SSD, make sure the pagefile is also set to use the SSD and not the HDD as it can peak to 100% writing/reading and give freeze/stuttering

First of all im using NordVPN with OpenUDP because my ISP wont give me an IPv4 adress and only supports DS-lite.
Most of the time VPN works really well but in the last few days in noticed that its stops working from around 23:30 CET and I am stuck on "waiting for session to start". But I figured out that switching from OpenUDP to OpenTCP fixes it I can play again, but I cant switch back to UDP because its still not working and I have to wait for the next day until it works again. in tarkov the bottleneck is your core clocks on CPU. ts not a stress test that puts 100% load on all cores at once

you can be CPU bound with 15% cpu usage if the game only uses 1 core

@sharp lance before you go poking at you CMOS battery try this method first it may be because the bios out put is displayed on the on board graphics port of the motherboard. Connect the monitor display cable to the back of the motherboard and try enter your bios from there... but to be fair if you havent enabled xmp it probably isn't enabled in the first place.

So for a few months I had no issues with Tarkov but now the same old issue I used to have is reoccuring, whenever I try to load into a larger map (Lighthouse, Streets, etc) the game will load the map and crash when its nearly finished loading or when its loading loot. Tarkov's crashlogs give absolutely 0 info regarding the issue. no clue how to solve. The bluescreens I get gave more information and somewhere to look (error code KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION) still have no idea whats causing it. Only had an issue after I changed some settings for better FPS and upon returning the settings back to what they were initially set to (when I had no issues) the issue still occurs

Hey evryone, I just bought tarkov a few days ago and was looking forward to playing it. The problem is tho that evry raid I get into, after approximately one minute, I cannot open any doors/pick up any loot and then my I get disconnected with a message "Server Connection Lost". My Internet connection is fine the whole time. I also get an error message in console saying: "Can not find sub command/group with name ";"".
Also I flushed my DNS, tried using a VPN, Reinstalled my game and tried using a static DNS server, basiccaly evrything that reddit and tarkov forum recommended. Im getting desperate at this point.

also you're on a 1660s. i used to play on it, i can give you settings for more frames

you're pushing your luck on those settings

ssr especially on high is very taxing

you don't turn off settings 1 at a time from high you turn them all on lowest then slowly turn 1 at a time or increase to notice performance hit

i started on medium then went down to lower and most time it got worse unless i put it to the bare minimum, however i pllayed this game before on the same pc , with decent graphic settings and it worked fine. i aint dumb i know how to do basic graphic settings. this game is the only time ive ever struggled on optimisation .

well all you need to do is go into BIOS and turn off XMP, the onlyweird thing it might do is not set the stock voltage and speed correctly so you might need to type in 2400mhz and 1.2v manually or something

but generally it does that automatically
