You could have a 4080 with a shit cpu and be still getting 20-30 fps

All about the ram and cpu as this game barely uses GPU.

You can try and increase your pagefile size, but if your ram is topping out 95+ not sure how much it would help

Windows + R
Open your run page and type in 'control sysdm.cpl'
Go to the advanced tab, under performance hit settings
Advanced again, and change the paging file size
Select an SSD drive
Untick automatically manage paging file size for all drives
Use 16000 minimum and 25000 maximum
Once you’ve entered your size of virtual memory, click Set, then click OK to apply the changes.
After that, restart your computer and give it another go

Keep in mind this will take up some extra space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD
Modern SSD’s will barely be affected (might even not be affected)

After that, restart your computer and give it another go

Keep in mind this will take up some extra space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD

My Tarkov freezes all the time and I don't know what to do about it. I've had this problem for a while now, even before this wipe and I've tried to push through it for some time now but I can't deal with it anymore, I really need help finding a fix. When I load into a raid I start having frame drops every couples seconds, I didn't have this problem beginning of wipe I have optimized my settings for fps but still have frame drops, not sure what to do game is pretty much unplayable. I have the newest nvidia drivers for my gpu.

Hi guys, I have a question. I just got a new PC and wanted to reset my account to start fresh with good fps. I decided to wipe out my whole stash for fun before resetting (i wiped everything like 5 days ago). I deleted my Gamma container as well to get stash worth 0$.

Now I realized that I cant rr my account for 3 weeks after wipe start so I am stuck without Gamma till 18th. I know I screwed up but I didnt know there is such thing as 3 week period in place. The game is not really enjoyable without container and I dont want to buy beta container cuz I would be resetting my account anyway on 18th to get my Gamma... What fixed all my stuttering & FPS issues in Tarkov was upgrading my RAM from 16gb 2133mhz to 32gb 3200mhz.

Honestly feels like a brand new game now - 90 - 150+ fps depending on map and able to play streets & lighthouse no issues at all. (i5 9600k + 1070 ti)

Hi my name is granny. I have been having trouble with my audio. So it started at beginning of wipe and I thought it was my Corsair headphones as they are know to have disconnection issues. So I tried the wired version on my headset and it still would fuck up my mic going into a raid. So then I went and bought a blue yeti caster bundle and a hyperX cloud2s. It worked for the first couple of hours and then started having problems. And the problem is when I go into any tarkov raid and raid only. My mic will completely go out when I am in discord. I can’t talk and then sometimes both will happen and I can’t hear. And as I learned yesterday it’ll cut in and out. But it’ll be super delayed and only happen a couple times. I tried other games and my audio setup works perfect. And this only happens when I am in a tarkov raid. When I come out or load in it works perfectly fine. I asked my friend whose good with computer and he said I could ask someone whose better and could try and overclock my GPU. Because it seems to be a performance thing at this point. I could be wrong, but he also recommend me to the discord for battle state support. Cause it seems to just be a tarkov related thing only. Hopefully someone here can help me. Cause at first I almost broke my monitor cause I kept getting TKd by my friend by accident cause they couldn’t hear me. But now It just makes me laugh cause I am so annoyed and disappointed. Raiders constantly shooting me through walls on reserve, scav aim bots shooting me halfway cross the map, hackers in factory constantly, shall the list go on. The new map is awesome but have yet to see any new stuff other then the Aug and the Map.

In the launcher where you can install, uninstall, and manage server settings, there should also be a verify game file cache button. It scans your game files to see if any are missing/corrupted. If any files are corrupted or missing it will remedy that. Ideally then fixing your issue. Its worth trying but thats the best I got.

I'm in desperate need of help, currently about to just say screw it and give up on this wipe.

Two nights ago I decided to change my settings and lower them down to medium on mostly everything, when they were just about maxxed out before (and ran most maps at around 70fps), however I wanted to optimize for streets as weirdly it started to perform noticeably worse after the first few days. (Could've been the memory leaks and maybe I forgot to restart, can't remember at this point)

However, upon lowering my settings I've somehow just ruined my game. I can no longer play the game at all and anytime I try to load into a game I notice constant heavy stuttering on the loading screen, and then it freezes on awaiting session start. Once this happens one of two things could happen, my game just never gets past that, or once it does I can walk around about 5 feet at a time (as the game goes from 80fps to 15 constantly with major stutters), and then the server disconnects me. My internet is also perfectly fine.

I tried to raise my settings back up to max and it actually worked for some reason on a single offline raid, but never again. It's almost like I have major RAM leakage but PC restarts and game restarts have zero effect. (I have a 2070, i7-8700k, and 16GB Ram)

you may need to install GPU drivers that arent the latest versions. sometimes those fuck with games. also clear your game cache in the launcher. worst case scenario is physical faults with motherboard, psu, ram, or memory controller. research your PSU and motherboard. ramXMP is probably a common blur screen in tarkov, it stresses the ram overclocks pretty good
