Let's raise your pagefile size

Windows + R
Open your run page and type in 'control sysdm.cpl'
Go to the advanced tab, under performance hit settings
Advanced again, and change the paging file size
Select an SSD drive
Untick automatically manage paging file size for all drives
Use 16000 minimum and 25000 maximum
Once you’ve entered your size of virtual memory, click Set, then click OK to apply the changes.
After that, restart your computer and give it another go

Keep in mind this will take up some extra space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD

Modern SSD’s will barely be affected (might even not be affected)

Can you go to Start (in Windows) > type "view reliability history" and see if there's any error entries for when you crash? Look at the details and look for the fault module name for a clue to what's causing it.

so when i press K which is my push to talk key, i get a red x with the 3 second wait time, after the 3 seconds is up i can voip, but this happens even if its my first time pushing the voip key in the raid, if i spawn in a press the voip key i get the red x, then i can talk once the 3 seconds is up. its not a huge deal but i dont get why its happening, every other player can talk on command. but i have to wait 3 seconds, every time.

hey guys i'm having problems with tarkov

one night when playing tarkov my power went out

i thought nothing of it and went to bed, when i woke up i booted up the game and it was fine till i queued into a scav run

and the loading time was way longer, it didn't show the countdown timer, and i loaded in late to the game

the game is also super stuttery, actions like alt tabbing and looking at my gear using tab freezes the game for a while

I was able to play a couple scav runs (kinda) on shoreline, but customs is near completely unplayable

i thought it was a tarkov specific problem, but it persists after cache clear, game file integrity check, uninstall and reinstall and a ram test

any ideas? literally nothing has changed other than the computer turning completely off while playing the game

Hey around the 20 minute mark my game starts stuttering really bad on every map other than factory and labs at the start of the raid it’s fine but towards the end it’s really bad. I re-installed windows and it fixed it for about 2 days but now it’s back does anyone have a fix other than just constantly re-installing windows

Also I would recommend you raise your pagefile size

Windows + R
Open your run page and type in 'control sysdm.cpl'
Go to the advanced tab, under performance hit settings
Advanced again, and change the paging file size
Select an SSD drive
Untick automatically manage paging file size for all drives
Use 16000 minimum and 25000 maximum
Once you’ve entered your size of virtual memory, click Set, then click OK to apply the changes.
After that, restart your computer and give it another go

Keep in mind this will take up some extra space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD

So. It's been about . A year and a half since I last played. I've tried adjusting server settings, I've tried reinstalling as well as adjusting video settings abd also ensuring there's nothing wrong with my SSD

But I am getting stuck with 8-10 minute load timers as the game is Loading Loot for around 7-9 minutes. I'm currently say at 67% on reserve loot loaded with 6:30 and counting. Any ideas?

and I've never had this issue in the past 1700 hours in the game
