Hello all, my personal email was hacked today. The hackers changed my phone number, names etc and I cannot regain control.

I have spent the day corresponding with Indeed, Credit Karma, Gab, Coin base and multiple accounts that were compromised.

I still had access to Tarkov until I stupidly decided to try to change the email and it sent a password reset to the hackers and of course they changed the password and I assume by now the email like they did with my Credit Karma account.

This all happened around 3:30 pm 8/6. I talked to my Mother around 8pm Eastern 8/6. She called to tell me that her email and multiple family and friend's emails had been hacked in the AM around 8am 8/6 so who ever this hacker or these hackers are they are pretty darn good.

Keep in mind this will take up some space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

can someone explain how getting hit in the legs can eventualy kill you?

If the thorax and head are the fatal areas, I just dont understand how you can be killed by shots in other limbs

When health pool of a certain limb reaches 0 all aditional damage to it gets distributed across all limbs tgat still have hp left

And some areas like the stomach have 1,5x multiplier on damage to them when they get to 0 hp

So by shooting one limb with high enough damage rounds enough time the distributed damage will bring the head or thorax hp to 0 and kill your oponent

This tactic called leg meta is usefull mostly in guns with very high fire rates and good damage like smgs with rip ammo or shotguns with buckahot up close

Hey, since the last wipe I have had a problem with the internet connection in Tarkov. Regularly every 2-3 games my ping goes up to 300-500 and I get kicked out of the game. I have 2-3 games that work great, ping is minimal but the next one will be completely unplayable. This is my 4th wipe and so far everything has been fine. It happened after the last wipe. My router has 2 networks simultaneously (2.4Ghz and 5G). As soon as my ping goes up, I switch networks from one network to another and I can keep playing (of course it kicks me out of the game when I switch networks). Does anyone know what's going on. I will just add that I have already reinstalled tarkov and tried various settings from the tarkov tutorials on the web, but nothing changes.

And this mail change feature being disabled is bs, we all know that. I've worked in support and I know that it can just simply be changed by support if they want.

What clearly is happening here, is that BSG has issue with people selling their accounts, which I get by all means... but hiding behind some company wide policy to provide no support at all to customers is no excuse.

So, if the only way is to delete my mail and later on hope this support staff that refused to help me, when I had access to all the information of that email, will suddenly help me instead of just ignoring me. I'll do just that, but there is no chance I am spending another dollar on this game. And of course communicate as such to everyone I know.

I don't ask you to keep it, you do as you wish, but understand that if you do, you will not be able to change the email by yourself and therefore, you will need to go through the process of contacting the support to recover your account, which you have lost access of, and therefore, an ownership verification will be needed to make sure you are actually the owner and not some random guy trying to access it. Based on this, actions will be taken to get your account back to you. This process is not only complicated because it asks information about the purchase such as the receipt, but also because the account team is busy and can take a few days to answer.

It is quite obvious what is happening here.

This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD

Anyone able to help me figure out why my game isnt working? It would be greatly appreciated. I can load the game fine and do everything in my stash fine but when i try to join a raid it loads everything until "awaiting session start" then it sits there for about 7 minutes then kicks me out of the search. I've tried loading in as pmc and scav and ive tried 3 different maps, none of which worked. I've updated my graphics card drivers, made my region OCE (30 ping) and uninstalled and reinstalled the game, none of which worked. Open CMD as admin by going to Start > type cmd and right click that and run as administrator.

Then run "sfc /scannow" (no quotes) to scan windows for corrupt files.

If it finds some it should fix them, and then reboot and try again.

Has anyone found a solution to the audio bug qhere it just randomly cuts your mic and muffles all the audio for the game, sounds start getting played at weird levels, at the time it only affected tarkov but now its actually affecting other shit on my computer. Did not have a single problem on my new computer until i installed tarkov and started playing the wipe. Ive tried reinstalling audio drivers, disabling everything related to audio and microphone besides the 2 devices i use, tried different connections, both the 3.5mm jacks for my headphones and usb 1.0 2.0 3.0 ports for my mic. And first back up these ini files by copying them to another folder on the desktop.

Try deleting graphics.ini first and try again, then delete the rest if you still have the problem.

If this doesn't fix the problem please paste the files you backed up to replace the files that took their place in that folder.

I'm going through this now. The launcher needs to reverify, probably because I updated my BIOS. The verification code won't come through as it's going to my outlook.com. I didn't know outlook.com was an issue when I created my account. I figured it was time to change my email to one that doesn't hate BSG (any issues with Gmail?). I can login to the website but can't change my email to one because the option is "temporarily unavailable", and seemingly has been for a while. So much for playing Tarkov this fine eve

moonshine is used in the scav case, an advanced hideout mechanic, to roll the dice and receive random items in exchange for the moonshine

moonshine can also be sold on the flea or used for high end barters
