Anyone else have random times the game just won't load on main monitor, even if selecting it in graphics settings? It just randomly says today I'm not playing on your main monitor.

make it windowed in settings, drag it to the other monitor and set to fullscreen. Then restart the game as there will be fps mismatch.

There is also a drop down for monitors but it might not work

I do that, but then it just goes where it wants when I fullscreen again. Win11, can move monitor game is active on by hitting windows key, shift and left/right arrows to fix it but then it doesn't say 4k resolution (my main monitor), it goes to 1080p (my 2nd/3rd monitor resolutions).

I fixed it for now. I had to right click desktop, go to displays, turn off each additional monitor by drop box then disconnect display. Then started game and adjusted settings as the only monitor. Save, exit, then turn monitors back on in display settings by clicking extend desktop on each.

Hey, i currently have the issue that randomly the game screen freezes. I can hear what is going on and move and so on. But i need to use task manager, close the game and go back in. From what i've seen the game goes into "Suspended" and the GPU usage drops to 0%.

I also use virtual memory set to 20k.

If you are playing in a 16:9 aspect ratio on a monitor with a wider aspect ratio you will always have pillarboxes unless you stretch the game out to the monitor's real aspect ratio.

With ryzen I'd suggest making sure xmp/docp is enabled, and if so already, a bios update and maybe even lowering the speed of the ram to one speed lower than 3200

You could also try moving the page file to c if it's not already there.

Yes, it will give you better sound localization

Only thing is you'll have to watch out for is the sound pop-ins

Some things across the map will pop in for a fraction of a second then pop back out

Something to get used to but you'll figure it out with time.

Then go to your launcher and verify integrity

Can someone tell me why I've been booted out of the game twice for something to do with anticheat detection and the only things I've had open both times are:

Tarkov
Runelite (OSRS Client)
Brave Browser
Spotify
Discord.

I have video proof of both times that I've just randomly been kicked out, I've lost decent kits both times and I'm on the verge of uninstalling. I have absolutely no idea what is causing it and it's fucking frustrating

Forget about the VPN, that is for my worklaptop. My gaming PC is separate. What I am saying is I have two machines on the network, my gaming and my laptop. My laptop never experiences any drop at all in the network when my drop on my PC happens on TARKOV. Using my tracer on my PC to log packages I see Tarkov is the one DROPPING not my internet connection

Please, has someone figured out the problem with low gpu usage / fps? I know this game is very much unoptimized, but I have literally spent upwards of 30+ hours going over every setting, clean reinstalling windows and drivers, debloating windows, updating bios on GPU and motherboard. Running great utilities and so on... yet I am still getting fucking 45 fps on lighthouse and sometimes dropping down to 55 fps on woods with 3070ti (1440p) (30-50% gpu usage). No, my cpu is not the problem, no my rams are not the problem, no my m.2 ssd is not the problem. I have literally worse fps at times than I had with the same setup but radeon rx 580 gpu. All I want is to be able to scope in and not drop below 60 fps. On my current setup I am able to run cyberpunk at literally everything including raytracing MAXED out, without dlss and without ever dropping below 70fps. Again, I know how abysmal is tarkov optimization and I am not hoping to run lighthouse at 165 fps.. all I want is to not drop to 45 when I scope in. I can run factory with 165+ fps tho. There has to be a way.

And yes, the game has optimization issues, it depends where you are bottlenecked.

For me DLSS literally just lowers the GPU usage and gives me the same exact fps. So I go as low as 15% gpu usage.

The launcher will work for updates as this slowness is usually just bad timing with the servers.

When it's done extract the zip to the folder where you want the game installed (clear the folder if there's anything now).

And then in the launcher choose "set the path to existing installation" and choose the folder.
