How are you guys fighting scav bosses in the early game, when you don't have good ammo? I assume you just shoot them in the leg?

kill any PMC with an ak and theyre typically rocking PS 5.45, its lvl 3 pen and will take you a bit further. i was farming BT and BP from interchange and then farming killa with Luger CCI ammo

there are spots in the maps where better ammo spawns, not all weapons caches are these spots, but some are

interchange, in scav pockets, on PMCs, it varies

i used to run factory for HOURS with shotguns to get enough M855 to go quest

a good early interchange loot run is to never go inside, just loot the three outside camps and leave either on emercon or flare exit

you will find good ammo but also these spots have rare / tech / construction loot for money or quests

i also XP farmed with my scav any chance i could for both rep and xp, would pocket every labs card i could find to get set for later, and then once i got labrys started i would farm there

if thats on the top rock near the flare exit, thats a guaranteed moonshine / whiskey spot which you can use for a thicc case barter later
