Quite often. At night they tend to hide a little more but if you have good accuracy you'll take out at least 3 bosses + their guards so you'll only have to deal with kaban (maybe) and Tagilla's punk ass

it increases your attention and perception by a significant amount (+30) so if you are lvl 21+ you can get the elite perks in raid when you use them (instant search and loot radar), keep in mind you won't get any XP for those skills while you do this.

this goes for all buffs from injectors, meds, food, etc. If the effect pushes your skill level past elite, you get the benefits of the elite perks, but you won't get any XP while it lasts.

Good day, I have a curiosity. When in pve scav raids. I'm kinda having a hard time figuring out which is pmc vs normal scav. As the pmc bots don't seem to react to me nor shoot at me. They just run around like regular scavs. I'm sorta new to the game and want to assume when I see the tactical helmets it's an enemy. But curious y they ignor me. I hesitate to take them out because I don't want to shoot scavs that looted a pmc bot. If that makes sense lol

My best advice is to not shoot them unless you see a holster, sometimes the scavs walk around in bear/usec hats and it gets even more confusing

AI PMCs start off each raid neutral with scavs, so they won't shoot on sight unless someone pisses them off, either by shooting at them or lingering too close to them. At that point all bets are off. So at the start of the raid, if you're a scav, they can walk past you without a word, but if you bumble around too close to them they can instantly turn hostile so watch out.

the best was I found to tell scavs from PMCs is the voicelines. Only PMCs will voiceline in English, plus they have very distinct voicelines in russian too, you just gotta have to learn them. Clothes are not always a good indicator since as the raid progresses scavs will put on dead PMC gear and will look like them from afar.

Scavs just jog in a straight line from place to place or stand somewhere. They also won't shoot you (unless you do), so there's that...
