quick rant and question: anyone else get tagged and cursed in PVE after surviving awhile. Heard thats the game mechanic and also if last pmc in raid (though prob pvp). But its impossible to survive anymore to progress, as sniper scavs are looking right at me 400m away, guards are grenade launching at me while im in streets carpark. Non stop scav rushing (like old pve) blah blah... Anyone else can confirm. 😁😁 thanque

nothing wrong with that, i usually play to take my time since when i played PvP i always rushed, since PvP wiped it was like a race whoever could get to the good shit first.

i hated that aspect of tarkov and i had it normalized for a long time, makes the game feel less involving and more of a sandbox
still feels that way, even as a scav with a half broken SKS you can clear house on Factory

Answering my own question lol- I've heard scavs have "difficulty settings", they spawn in with different agression code... So probably dynamic and also linked to how long sonce last death.

Ive only found marked keys on scavs, especially the bloody key, for streets door quest. Maybe bad luck but never found much on pve bosses

About 2 hours ago I got 2 power outages after a Scav raid. Got the timeout the 1st time with error 28... Game closed, I restarted and I was back at the Transfer screen... I could transfer couple items before getting another disconnection, but nothing was happening after waiting 10 mins or so. No timeout nothing so I alt-f4 and waited until now to try again. This time I lost the items on my scav, but when I go for another scav run, my scav has no weapon... anyone knoq what's going on ?

if you want to be safe, either run away or don't fight up top. harder for them to get yhou from under and if they push you it's a lot easier to kill them from the side lanes

in the big room where yellow is it's not that bad to fight up top, but in the other area there's so many plants it's really hard to fight

and at least on labs if i get stuck i don't know yet the other ways to re-engage and move around

It feels weird to see this advice. I have a real easy time on labs and i stay up top. Ground floor is harder, lots of awkward cover that they can use and shoot you through tiny gaps. Just make sure to listen out for footsteps and make sure you stick near a doorway you can run through

when u run down those stairs and back up to the other side the raiders/pmcs usually have no idea and you get a free flank. to be clear i dont mean playing under from the main center area. i mean only the side lanes

I think they mostly just do a good impression of intelligence when they are working properly. Earlier on their pathing was on point, I ran into a group of 3 raiders, 2 moved at me pincer style, the third ran up top and started throwing grenades at me

But then you'll have them trying to shoot you through walls because you're on your third raid and haven't cleared the cache yet

Pretty sure all of our experience with AI differs depending on our rigs (when local)
