Cause atm your options for 7.62R are the PKM/PKP and SVDS, neither of which are better than or equal to their 7.62N counterparts

The SVDS is flat out worse than all 7.62N DMRs, heavier, bulkier, longer, etc. and the PKM/PKP only really has it's firerate to hold over the M60, otherwise it's worse in just about every way

The TKPD is as much a sniper as something like the SR-25 they even have overall comparable MOA, length, etc. The main difference comes from caliber, they're even roughly the same weight

The TKPD is basically just an SR-25 that was brought up to 9.3. Outside of the stats you can't really compare (Recoil) they're pretty identical

They even weigh nearly the same

The Mjolnir isn't shitty, but it's far too niche. the TKPD fits in far more with rifles like the SR-25, RSASS, etc. than it does with weapons like the Mjolnir
