Prapor level 2 has SP-5 and x39 FMJ both of which are ~30 pen, he also sells the guns for them

Fence also pretty regularly has pretty decent ammo for sale, atm he has both x39 and 5.45 PS for sale. Skier sells TCW at LL2 and that's 85 damage and 30 pen, decent chance for heavy bleed too

He's not that tough to fight. If he catches you unprepared it can suck but as long as you have a full mag and your gun is on full auto you can take him out before he even blacks a limb. These Shift+W bosses may be terrifying but with the slightest ounce of confidence from the player they just become stupidly easy since their strategy fails the second you use them running as an opportunity to mag dump their skull

no dude ive killed the bosses tons of times in the last 2 weeks and loot from them across the board is terrible, since new years i have found 1 labs keycard on 1 boss. anything other than that has been just regular trash they carry. No key cards not alot of money. Just trash loots across the board

I will say that I have no been getting all that great boss loot. I don't think I've found a single keycard on any boss since I started in early December, Their loot feels very mundane, usually just grenades, mags, etc. Even the ammo is mid tier for the most part, especially on bosses with Guards.

Tbf there's quite a difference between every single boss always having good loot and just never finding good loot on them. I haven't found a keycard on a boss since 1.0 dropped. Not saying it's impossible but just saying their loot has seemingly become very sterile

I personally don't really use THICC cases, don't really need to in PvE, so I can't say I've ever really looked at the THICC prices from Ref. What annoys me about Ref is that his Weapon and Ammo availability feel too good, there's been quite a few times where if I want a certain Weapon or need ammo of a high enough pen I have to use him because otherwise those weapons/ammos are locked behind a questline I haven't done

Money is so insanely easy to get in PvE that I don't really need long term storage. If I decide I'm done with a certain playstyle/weapon/kit I sell it and just buy whatever I wanna try out. I have one ammo box full of ammo I can't buy (yet) like M62, x39BP, etc. just incase I need to use certain calibers for questlines or boss hunting, and I really don't sell that much stuff. The only thing I consistently loot with the intent of selling are F-1 grenades. Outside of that it's basically just if I find a pimpy 416 or something I tend to just sell that to Mechanic. Ammo is easy asf to get in PvE so I just don't really care to loot for the sake of profit. Especially since Arena was added, a single win can get you 100-200K for about 15 minutes of gametime, and you can transfer 750K a day, it's just trivialized profit even more

One tip i will give, after the first 11 BD, take one of their M4A1s and swap what mods you can onto that. Your gun will be well below the jam threshold and you never want to jam when it comes to it.

I've had a few times where on the strip to the explosive my gun jammed at the literal worst time and it killed me.
