Another cool thing I enjoyed about ABI is the badass pistols. If you quickly press the "switch to pistol" button, your character holds the pistol with their right hand, while putting away the rifle with the left hand. It looks badass as fuck and also allows you to genuinely use pistols instead of reloading. In tarkov it's only the case for some reason when your gun malfunctions, but otherwise taking a pistol out takes 3-5 business days. Making them almost useless

I didn't like ABI, but I think GZW is on the right track. Loved the ambience and environment in that game. The immersion and ballistics are peak too. And the fact that quest descriptions are well made enough that you can guess where the mission is without having to check 3rd party websites is amazing. It clearly needs a lot of work to be anywhere close to Tarkov though, obviously.

Idk if I'd go that far, I honestly enjoyed it quite a bit. Fighting AI was a mixed bag, sometimes it was more challenging than Tarkov because a bullet to the chest will actually kill you instantly, sometimes it was just bullshit with, as you said, AI just respawning behind you as you clear a building

I really really fucked with the jungle ambience, especially after the big weather update. And I LOVE the ballistics in that game. I really like the fact that fast moving 5.56 can oneshot in the chest due to cavitation and the round moving around through organs and so on. Coupled with the fact that the map is open and there's no loading screen between raids, and idk to me at times I felt a lot more immersed than I have been in Tarkov. But obviously yeah, it's nowhere near as good as Tarkov at the moment.

Grizzly repairs all besides being blacked out. Running Salewa (2 slot) makes someone still carry heavy bleed, llight and splint ( 3 more slots) making it bigger than Grizzly. Grizzly overall is the easist way to run in my opinion
