your phone leaks your location by speaking to cell towers
to expand on phone problem there are also stingrays/simulated cell tower devices that are used to track you
the way you type and speak can tell a lot about your place of origin and thereby sometimes reveal your location
your devices microphones can be used to pick up on ultra and infra sound to pin point your location
your devices acellorometers can be used to help pin point your location

forgot to mention CCTV cameras and nowadays survailance cameras that someone calls license plate readers

but yeah constantly being on the move/being a nomad helps you be harder to be in contact with for long times
