I’m still early in my cybersecurity learning working through networking, Python, and THM rooms, but I’d definitely be interested in testing it and giving feedback from a beginner perspective if that’s useful.

How are you handling environment setup under the hood is it using containers, VMs, or something else?

It sets behind a gateway interface. The gateway provides it tools like writing files, or running docker commands. It essentially, takes the prompt, and goes through a whole loop. It runs the necessary commads and writes the docker files to spin up the images... after it does its own testing and exploiting to verify that the lab environment it created is actually legit. Once complete it packages this all up as a complete labspec json file that is then passed to a seperate orchestrator that spins up the images in the isolated network.

That’s really cool — I like that it verifies the exploit before packaging the lab.

One thing I implemented is a confirmation it provides prior to it actually building it out. So it provides all details on what it is actually going to be implementing. So, if there is something different you want, you just let it know.

But it does have web search functionality so it can look into and research about different vulnerability concepts and software versions related to the CVEs.

Its pretty consistent. But still in beta stage right now. Obviously with more in depth CVEs, that rely on heavy software building. There are some difficulties there since it requires more token ussage.
