im doing the JWT security module and i just completed the signature validation mistakes segment for flag2. i had to change the admin claim to 1 and authorize to the server to give me the flag. i got the flag, but the why i did it i feel like i cheated myself and with all the research i did to try to figure out why it worked has flopped. i decoded each segement of the JWT and altered the admin value to read one and reencoded it. when i went to validate, i got an error saying invalid request. i used jwt.io to check my work and it was all done correctly. I went to a medium article (i hate doing this :_( ) and i ripped the signature token from that article, appended it to my request and got the flag, so i knew the payload altering was done correctly. I knew i needed to re-verify with the secret key in the signature but nowhere does it show the key and the api doesnt expose it at all either, so i couldnt craft a new one if i wanted too. what did i miss?
