Using your own Machine as the attack box is already one step more difficult than the provided box in THM. Daily driving linux is another step.

But if you wish to totally transition to linux on your main machine, you can. But you have to be wary about going through the modules on your main machine since you may run into OS issues along the way. Issues on your main OS = risk the data on your drive.

But if you can not effectively give your ideas in a neat and tidy manner to the C-Suite, then you'll struggle to go far in the field.
