wanted to tweak how my dad runs his email server but didn't want to do it on his server till I'd confirmed it worked first, his server uses pop3 to fetch from the email hosting provider but only checks every 3 minutes

that meant mimicking his setup somewhat which meant finding and installing nethserver 7 which meant fixing repository urls, setting up AD and email etc. I have successfully got it to forward outgoing emails from an internal user to the hosting provider smtp server and receive emails using an MX record to directly grab them as they arrive rather than polling with a collector. Nightmare but seems to work correctly and I've not accidentally created an open relay in the process so we're winning
For reference, the hosting providers only role is to provide a trusted IP for sending so that it doesn't flag genuine emails 🤣

Hi Guys i just found out that the program i am hunting is vulnerble to the punycode account takeover when i click on forget password and use punnycode email he thinks of main account and send reset mail while whenever you request for reset password using wrong email it will say the user not found but he accepts the punnycode should i report them becuase i can't use punycode since i don't have a domain is it worth to report?

Note : When you request for password link using punnycode variant of main account it will send the reset link of main account to the punycode variant...
