hey I just saw this, I think you got your answer but I do recommend a break between certs. I did GCIH many years ago, it is a great cert, I don't know current changes to it though but if you do the course, study the concepts, you should be able to pass. I'm only quasi familiar with Security+, I don't think there is a ton of overlap so no reason to rush for GCIH after Security+
