hi. just updated to the latest kali 2025.4 virtualbox image. for some reason, i can't get window resizing to work as expected. first time when this happens using a readily built image. anyone else experienced this with 2025.4? already tried reinstalling openvm tools or whatever they're called, didn't work. also tried virtualbox gues image and installing the guest additions. didn't work and also broke the kali installation. "hard" resizing of the window via virtualbox doesn't work either

not sure if you fixed it or not, but i had the same issue. solution for me that worked : Install VirtualBox Guest Additions. if not installed . if it is , reinstall. 2. change Display Controller to VMSVGA and turn off "Enable 3D accel" 3. If forgotten- Enable Auto-Resize in options. - Auto resize Guest Display. Hope that helps. ! 😛
