so... i am not going to vent here but for those who saw that i got an interview before, sadly i am not going to work for that company since apparently they accidentally broke canadian human rights laws and didn't give interview accomodations after reasonable time to respond and request for them. the interviewer literally had never heard the word accomodations before besides as a word to book a room at a hotel;

tldr, a lot of companies that claim to be "dei" companies are just lying and actually have literally no idea about even the most basic of accomodation requests like asking for interview accomodations;

and frankly even if i got offered a job i have no interest working for a company that is so bad at their job educating interviewers that the literally don't know what an accomodation even is, let alone why its important;

to me that suggests systemic failure and i'd rather not have to deal with that level of mess if my job is literally cyber and keeping those cybersecurity problems from harming the business;
