Well I'm 20 too but I'm 2004 but I've been born in last December and me too cybersecurity wasn't my first choice I was studying economics I studied for a year and then switched to management for a year and then studied finance for two years but it had a lot of math and it was hard AF and I loved the IT so much so I switched and now I'm studying software engineering and I do cybersecurity for fun too but like I'm planning to work in cybersecurity when I finish

yeah, it was cool, but just a bit much. since i want to easily spin up virtualized networking and VMs, it was just too inefficient. since it's a type 1 hypervisor, you can't run vbox, etc. since you're already virtualizing

But yeah I'm just one for bleeding edge software and digging at the guts of my OS and being responsable for it all. I just could never go back after building my systems up from scratch
