Hey everyone! I’ve got a bit of a vintage camera puzzle on my hands. I’ve been using my trusty Canon IXUS 160 for over a decade now. About a year ago, it started shutting down on its own and wouldn’t turn on, so I thought it was done for. Today, I held the power button a bit longer and got it to turn on again. But now I’m seeing weird issues: the battery shows low sometimes, and the pictures come out looking like negatives or have strange colors and glitches.

I’m guessing it might be a super old battery not holding charge well or maybe just the camera’s internal hardware giving up. I’m thinking of trying a factory reset or a new battery if I can find one. Those symptoms actually line up with aging hardware especially the sensor or the capacitors starting to fail the negative looking photos and weird colors usually mean the sensor isnt getting stable power a weak battery can make it worse so trying a replacement battery is still worth a shot if you can find one but if the glitches stay even with a new battery its most likely the sensor or internal circuitry breaking down after all these years and at that point the repair might cost more than the camera itself

I have my own version but it's currently under construction lol but if I may just ask, let's say you ran out of attack vectors (no source code clues, ports 22 for ssh and 80 for http has no known vulnerabilities and you've exhausted all other options), what do you usually do?
