Take the top 3 book titles that interest you most from that bundle. Do this for each one. Find the exact title and publication date.Google the title with the word "review". See what people were saying about it when it came out...Search for the author's name. Are they still active in the field? Do they have a blog, a GitHub? Or did they vanish after writing this book? ;p

I’ve performed experiments in the past on other communities and it really affects overall interactions and spikes server leaves

We’re a beginner server, there’s a lot of genuine unverified users in the help channels asking for help - most of which are new to Discord and won’t know how to verify which pushes them away

I just see a lot of spam and other stuff that isn't always caught right away, i just report it though and move on

if you do this legwork and find that, for example, the core HPC book is from 2021 and focuses on Slurm and has a chapter on cloud integration, then that specific book might be worthwhile for you to learn the fundamentals, which change slower. @frigid juniper ☕

You are correct. Not everything changes. The fundamentals are eternal. The OSI model, the principle of least privilege, how a TCP handshake works... this is the granite bedrock of our field. You can indeed learn this from an old Sec+ book loolll
