I personally prefer Arch's bleeding-edge repositories and Arch User Repository system more than Debian/Ubuntu's packaging system, which is what Mint uses under the hood

Arch demands a tiny bit more assembly and knowing your system in case of breakage, but it's really not that unstable or complex unlike what past inference might've said. It's my default choice if I want something I'm familiar with that's flexible and more of a blank-slate I can quickly mold on the spot 👍

VDP and other programs like it Ive never personally randomly scanned then contacted them but still you spend a long time to find bugs just to be told they are not gonna accept it. It's sucks

If its a managed program they should give a proper reson if the PoC is not proving impact.

I manage a BB program for my Org. Triages for the platform set one scoring, but we also lower it on our end, depending on the actual impact. It happens sometimes.

If platform triagers set one scoring and the company did another one, you can always ask why

But the most reports coming from less experienced resarchers/hackers they always set it to critical, every time not understanding how scoring works and what the actual impact is.

years ago i found a vulnerability in oldschool runescape, it was in pvp world, if somebody killed u and u did something, u wouldn't die, and keep all ur items, i didnt report it cuz i knew they wont sent me any money, im pretty sure if i try now the bug will still be there, cuz i found it by accident and im pretty sure nobody fight in pvp at that exact spot where i found the bug

u would die, but spawn at the same place and keeping all ur items and hp level would be full again 😆
