I tried going in when I finished school early and they said I had to book it in because it'd take a while. Was like, "the place is empty and it's lunchtime", there's no way you can't do it

If you're just wanting to see a range of requests / responses then genuinely just browsing the internet through Burp will give you a fairly good overview.

Tbh, HTTP is very straightforward as far as protocols go. You'll get used to the basics quickly. Anything more complex is a docs situation anyway.

Right, okay, so download Burp (or preferably just use a Kali VM). Open it up, go to the Proxy tab and where it says "Intercept", make sure that's disabled. There should be an option for "Burp Browser" on the same screen. Click that, then just browse around for a bit.

Sorry to correct, it's something that was drilled into me by someone who worked with radios, triangulation uses angle to calculate position, I assume you're referring to trilateration where radio propagation and signal strength between various towers is used to calculate location bases on distance rather than angle
