If I need to leverage a security tool I'll launch my kali vm give it an update/install and use it

As somebody who worked in tech support/customer service, sending more than one email can play against you. A lot of software that companies use work as a queue, if you send more than one email the program detected as duplicate and discard all the previous emails and take the last email received, so you send many email because you think that will get a faster answer, but what are you doing is resetting your place in the queue and then complain why you didn't answer me 🤣

i know through the walkthrough that ill have to use the SSH key of the other user and crack it using bruteforce, so theres nothing im really stuck with.

the main problems i faced was enumerating SMB

the SMB part isn't that difficult

one of the basic things that you can do is:

smbclient -L \\ip\

this will list all the shares available to you

and you can connect to one of them by:
smbclient \\ip\share

if they ask for a password, just click enter

this is because you are logging in as Anonymous

which means you don't need a pass

There are also nmap scripts to do most of those things

mhm, ill keep that in mind from now on. There was a part where i had to use SMB to get the users. I dont know why, but in the walkthrough the command returned both correct usernames, but in my case it gave me an error:

returns only the basic information, not specific to the script for me.
