Oh I always recommend, if you don’t already, download a antivirus. Bitdefender or Kaspersky free tho I think they are discontinuing kasp free. But a av’s realtime protection has a higher chance of detecting something than a scanner. If that doesn’t detect anything than you can try scanners. Still paranoid? Well next option is a clean reinstall

I just remembered my first hack. It wasn't a computer hack, but a physical security hack. I was maybe two or three at the time, and it was pretty impressive for a toddler because I basically bumped a lock. And I think it foreshadowed a lot of things in my life. The (now closed) gym my mother used to work out at had a day care for parents of young children to drop their kids off at while they worked out. It was in a separate room and was walled off by age group using plastic fences that were about waist-high on an adult with gates with latches on them. The area for toddlers was on one end of the room, but on the opposite, there was the area for the "big kids" that had computers. I was bored with the toddler toys and I wanted to play games on the computers (because I'd previously been playing JumpStart on my own computer [a janky 90s desktop that wasn't connected to the Internet] and really enjoyed it), so I figured out how to open the latches on the gate by reaching between the bars of the gate to strike the bottom of the latch up and pushing on the gate at the same time to basically bump the lock open instead of pulling the lever on the top like the older (and taller) people could, but was out of my reach, and I started making my way to the computers. I got about two sections over when the poor teenager in charge of the toddlers realized, ran over to me, and picked me up kicking and screaming and carried me back to the toddler section. And then even time-out couldn't hold me, because I'd try to sneak back to the computers when she wasn't looking. My mom eventually came to pick me up and the staff told her what happened and she was FURIOUS, but I think she also realized that I was going to be a handful and might be a hacker someday...

Yeah I've pretty much doing physical security bypasses and social engineering ever since, even though I only recently found out what it was called. When I was about 12, I talked my entire family's way into a sold-out Lego Discovery Center for free.

Yeah I pop in and out. Life got crazy for a while and I had to stop doing hacker stuff to deal with that. This summer was nuts for me and didn't go the way I planned in the slightest. But now things are calming down, so I'm back in hack /ref
