Alright, the situation with your university website is actually pretty spicy.
Initially, it looked like that the website you gave me is completely legit and it is just a false positive from virustotal.

The url has the following pattern:

uni-name.learning-platform-name.com

I found out that learning-platform-name.com is compromised. If you look at their source code, it contains all sorts of links to gambling sites.

I am not a cysec expert, so take this with a grain of salt, but as I understand it, this means uni-name.learning-platform-name.com could be compromised too. In fact all universities that depend on learning-platform-name.com could be compromised.

I encourage you to discuss this with e.g. DKob further in chat. You should probably contact your university and discuss this with them and also the learning platform.
