Hey Everyone!
I’m in a bit of a stuck position here doing this,wait, let me share the details first

the target vulnerability is in a web application that uses Python's pickle library for deserialization. Pickle is a module in Python used for serializing and deserializing objects. However, pickle is known to be insecure because it can execute arbitrary code during deserialization. This is because the pickle format includes instructions to reconstruct objects, and if an attacker can control the pickle data, they can make it execute malicious code.
The web application has an endpoint /create_link that accepts a JSON POST request with a fullname field. The JavaScript function submitJsonForm sends this data to /create_link. Then, the server responds with a redirect URL to /story?name=..., where the name parameter is a base64-encoded pickled object.
When the user visits the /story endpoint, the server takes the name parameter, base64-decodes it, and unpickles it using pickle.loads. This is where the vulnerability lies: if the unpickled object is malicious, it can execute code on the server.

So I tried OS injections in my payload but they’re all blocked by the server giving internal error (500), so I tried the in built functions (eval, open(filename)) but they didn’t yield any result either
(Ofc this is not everything, I have only shared the crucial details)
So if any of you have any expertise in this, please dm me!

if need for testing you can install iso files also if your system have good configuration go for bluestacks
