I have a water filter installed in my apartment that's the only way to drink water from the facet

Do you select the audio device? You might need to adjust your settings in Win11 to get it to auto-recognize the device and switch.

Or.. just get a better headset. 🤣

Check the mfgr website for a driver update. Don't trust Windows update...

And they should have a support site too. Maybe others have had the same issue.
