Don't click on suspicious links, don't download from unverified services and don't worry about your IP address being sent to people, it will be sent to every website you click on.. most IP addresses from internet service providers are not static and will change after at most a week lol

The ISP uses DHCP to serve IP addresss to the clients. DHCP has a lifetime for your IP set for an hour or maybe 24 hours. Just depends on how your ISP configured it.
If your device is offline for greater than the lifetime period, then instead of renewing your IP, you will request a new one.
