Sorry, that was condescending of me, isn't part of the job watching behaviour to anticipate fights, and can't dogs sniff out drugs, I'd have thought that AI watching CCTV and monitoring sensors could probably do a ok job at that. Sure it might need a response team to turn up, but I'd guess there were a lot less people employed in security at your university 20 years ago than there are now, just with CCTV and electronic doors, even without AI.
