I watched the video, and i got some stuff wrong:

1. Metasploit is for trying exploits on the target, not for searching them.
2. Nmap is way more powerful than i thought, using the nmap --script vuln command to check common vulnerabilities. It can also be used to run external commands / scripts made for NMAP available online to check for detailed and specific vulnerabilities.

So, i would first check for any vulnerabilities using nmap (which is known as reconnaissance). Then use metasploit to exploit said vulnerabilities.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
