A good thing to look at for learning cloud related stuff. For AWS I'd recommend either the aws academy for basic knowledge and architecting aws. Additionally, THM has an addon for defending and attacking aws

Not exactly.
The bot's code is written on an old system which better handles with a smaller user-base.

Ideally I'd prefer a message queue system but the infrastructure isn't available just yet. Until then, every 24 hours the bot runs a cycle which goes through a database and checks the TryHackMe website with every entry to see if it's different. If it is, it will update your roles within the Discord server.

Unfortunately with the sheer amount of requests to the API, the bot gets slowed down quite a lot
