We have a whole hacklab isolated from the rest of the UNI, we use a PXE Boot server and tiny core Linux to reimage the machines with either Ubuntu or Windows each time we restart the machines and are given administrator permissions to do literally whatever you want (without physical damage)

Fair, imo courses aren’t the way you learn, they are like supplements that complements your existing occupation or learning, if you want to really learn then my opinion would be to develop a “hacker mindset” and explore it yourself in VMs, make CTF challenges from scratch would give you the best holistic education on technical vulnerabilities if you want to learn pen testing etc
