That's too bad, vbox has a little bit of a learning curve but it has been a lot more reliable for me than vmware. Once you get everything configured and set up it can really improve your workflow.

I stopped using vmware though because after broadcom bought the company, it started cutting support for a ton of their products, including gutting workstation. I expect it to die from a lack of development and support eventually

I have switched from from THM to htb academy a long time ago. But I kinda got bored by it and couldn’t really focus on the seemingly endless pages of reading material anymore. I for some reason couldn’t focus on it and I kinda stopped even though I am really interested in the materials. I kinda wanted to do some practice stuff and htb was still a bit too difficult for me so I gave THM practice a try and had lots of fun. Are the THM practice rooms actually good compared to htb and should I go back to THM? What would be your advice to continue my learning journey? AttackBoxes are spawned in Ireland which means that your connection may cause input lag.
If you can, I would recommend connecting to the TryHackMe VPN and then RDPing into the AttackBox if possible -I understand this may not be something you know how to do, happy to provide resources
