I don't disagree - and still many postings list CEH as a cert they want, even larger companies, banks etc.

Personally if a candidate had another certification that could prove their technical skills, and explained they only had CEH to get 'past the HR filter' - seeing as how many position listings seem to want it, I would find this acceptable.

There are many certs that can be passed that do not necessarily prove a candidates technical knowledge that can be helpful to get a position somewhere.

I think that is true, up to a point. If a company has a hard requirement for a certification with a poor industry reputation, that is probably not a company I want to work for. Same. I took an ethical hacking class but my professor didn’t really have us do much. We only used a program called Linux which was ran through VMware or something like that. I don’t remember much. He didn’t tell us or give us instructions on how to prevent us from being hacked. The only main issue was clicking on fake emails with mysterious links attached to them.

My professor told us that hackers can even hack our refrigerators and lightbulbs but didn’t show us how to counter that lol

you are not wrong. some plastic is extra sensitive in temperature change. if not enclosed = fail 98% of time. standard PLA i never had issue with non closed ones.

i've had some issues with PLA losing adhesion on taller prints. Could be layer heights..... but honestly, i think it was airflow coolling the lower layers too quickly
