So I got my new parts installed and everything and everything works, well when it was booting it asked to reset ftmp and tmp since new cpu was installed, well at first I selected no and it sent me to bios I just save and exit out of bios. Well it kept putting the question up and wouldn’t let me boot so I did reset it. Well then I needed to set up my pin now and I needed and internet connection to do so but my motherboard lan driver wasn’t installed so i couldn’t get in to do so. So i downloaded windows on usb and driver for the board. After hours I open cmd in WindowsRE and add a local host to be able to get into windows in order to update the drivers so I could have an internet connection. So then I go back to my account and go to reset my pin it lets me log into my Microsoft account and do the code but then i clicked reset pin and it says we could not reset pin at this time or something along those lines. So I went into windowsRE and renamed the NGC folder to NGC.old in hopes that it wouldn’t find it and bypass the pin and I had no luck. So I can’t get past my pin in order to get my information

These are just ideas I found on the interwebs, I don't know for sure.

Swapping back to the old CPU Might help temporarily while you try to figure things out. Just make sure you sign in with THE SAME EXACT username and password you had before this whole mess started, or you will not be able to decrypt your data to back it up.

Update BIOS and clear CMOS,

After a bit of a re-read, if you have a wifi card / lan card in a pcie slot, make sure you didn't bump it or break it in the slot. I'm thinking you can't reset your pin because Windows requires an internet connection to reset your pin or password and all that junk.

On a personal note: switch to Linux and don't buy hardware with TPM, it's harder to just lose data that way. There are also certain scripts you can run to bypass the requirement to log in over the internet to finish your windows setup offline. If ultimately you can't retrieve your data, logging in to another computer with windows on it, using the same exact login info from your original computer will allow you to retrieve your data, at least it did for me on my Windows 10 laptop (without TPM) so if nothing works out you still have hope

Now verify that the file is indeed in your current working directory with: ls -al

If the file is in your current working directory, and executable, type: ./wazuh-install.sh
If the file is not executable, make it executable with: sudo chmod +x wazuh-install.sh
Then attempt to execute the shell script again.

After you have wazuh installed, go research every command and command argument you used to finish this installation, you'll need to have at least an idea on how they all work together going forward for any work you do with linux. Summarize your research succinctly in a primary notes vault so you can reference your notes whenever you need them.
