Mhmm I've been emulating Sound Blaster 16 and Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold a good bit in 86box and loving them

Sound Blaster Live! is pretty nice, but kinda fails it for DOS support since the OPL (FM synth) is via emulation. This is on real hardware I should clarify

Realistically any computer that is decently powerful can at least emulate Pentium or Pentium MMX in 86box, so you should be fine

they do support Pentium II but for stable speed, that's usually out of the question without a monster rig
