I just got a lot of emails from Amazon telling me how my password might be compromised and how I should click to deny the login atempt.

First thought: What is going on?
Second thought: Wait a moment, I don't have an amazon account linked with this email address.

The emails are extremely well done. If I didn't know that I don't have an amazon account on this email I would have been worried. These emails didn't go into spam. They have a verified amazon.com as the address and the links are amazon.com links. Long links with probably some kind of redirects. But whoever created this, made them really realistic.

Any thoughts about that? Is there a way to analyze the emails and find out how they did this?

gmail does have both authentication methods implemented. The most likely case is that the sender address you can visibly see is different from the actual messenger address, which is probably some random garbage.

Just about anyone will tell you that your best best is utilizing common sense and critical thinking, though.

If you didn't set up 2FA for a service, and haven't made a login attempt in the last minute, why would you be receiving an approve/deny email? For that matter, services don't send deny login requests, that's an obvious intimidation mechanism.
