That's the way it is. Caffeine doesn't have the same effect on me that it has on other people. At my parents house was customary to drink coffee after a meal, even dinner and nobody had sleeping issues, I remember some guests telling us, "thank you but if I drink coffee now I'll be up all night" that never happend in my house 🙂

The more you drink the more you develop tolerance, also there are other factors, the amount of food you ingested (if any) which type, the amount of alcohol, and also the amount of time, because if you drink too fast even if it's not a lot of proofs or AVB, %, etc you'll get drunk. If you drink too fast you don't let your body metabolise the alcohol and you'll get drunk faster
