I have installed the live CD that is given in the book Hacking : The Art of Exploitation. in oracle virtualbox.
the machine turn on successfully but after clicking the install option in the boot menu it is going into a black screen.
Does Anyone already installed it? if so can you please help me??

It's old, and you can't / shouldn't upgrade it, but it servces the purpose of being a VM to examing the source code included in the book. And it's lightweight.

@raw glen You can also kick up the video RAM to 64 to 128MB also. That might help.
