You can also use the preinstalled anti-virus app provided by your Phone Provider to double check the file.

It is unlikely?? Zero click exploits are rare unless they are zero days

The risk is high if you are clicking on random links. The only reason I said want I said about your situation is how Reddit handles these on the backend and the fact that they have systems going full tilt to make sure it doesn’t happen. So there are mitigations and compensating controls in place. But even those aren’t fool proof. Without going in depth because I’m now going to sleep, be careful ends you click on. I’m sure someone here will enlighten you.
