Yeah and i would say playing CTF's really helps to . You either do it on your own and feel super proud or you learn something in the most interesting way possible

It kinda shows you that you are actually learning things even if you think otherwise

Like i remember i couldn't even play basic level CTF's and now when i play Hard level CTF's i do feel proud and can see the progress i've made so far .. It's slow but it's there . Specially when you are self learning knowing that you are making progress and having friends that have same passion as you even online is super important

Depends on your use case. I use Claude for coding - mostly scripts, ocasionally even just lengthy fish command line scripts. It's good at formating data or doing basic operations with them. Definitely faster than me but often needs to be corrected slightly. Grok is great for research, especially if Twitterbase is actively debating this topic in a language you don't understand.

I would not use any of these recommendations, personally. If they're on Windows, Defender is a complete and effective solution. No need to download additional software. It's also free.

If you're on Windows, Defender is an acceptable solution. Norton and Avast are both bloated and in the way. You can read about people's experiences on various websites. Kaspersky's potential allegiance and ties to the Russian government makes it a non-choice, if that's part of your personal threat model.

If you really need something additional, Malwarebytes is also free. You can run it occasionally, but not concurrently with Defender. Running two AVs at the same time is bad.
