I almost cried this morning when trying to make an ini file on windows. Because Linux is smart, Linux knows that if you have .ini at the end it knows its an ini file. Windows on the otherhand slaps .txt at the end of .ini so then you have to open it, save as and retype it out and make sure .txt is not selected at all.

I'm an M2 owner, if you're wanting to run common tooling, etc, you're going to struggle. Virtualisation is still an ARM architecture of Linux/Windows - so you have the same problem. Emulation for ARM -> 32_64bit is still pretty shitty imho.

You'd be much better getting a 32_64bit intel/amd CPU laptop than an ARM. Trust me, causes all sorts of headaches for this type of work
