What ive learned from web dev and data analysis so far that id say applies to all tech fields is experience and proveability, certs are fine I guess if theyre asked by the company but what everyone wants is that juicy CV: Im self motivated dont need people to give me indications 24/7, passionate, willing to study for work even in my free time, here I attach my *projects.whatever* proving Im doing stuff with the theoretical knowledge i got so far

I think its more a matter of what you bring to the table and how well you manage vs what youre offered. Is there a chance someone speaks for you and gives you a shot ? Sure. Likely ? Not, after all if you dont have the skills most of the times even a recommendation wont get you far. Its obviously more than just knowing how to do stuff its still social ladder climbing but on the flip side compared to other roles knowing how to do stuff isnt a recommendation its a requisite. My argument isnt that its better, its actually harder but thats also why you can get a "high" salary making something like react development or some crap 🤣

Is there a specific order in which you would want to approach for studying a specific role in THM or in general? For example, PT or SOC? I am trying for months to study for PT, but I don't know where to start. The Windows Installer can just be clicked through. It allows you to connect to a wireless network towards the end of the installatin process.

Got out of a brawl today... Guy was pestering this small dude and the guy repeatedly told them he's not interested in their business and to politely step off, obviously a bit more colorful language was used. I decided to step in, to stop things from escalating, next moment they're picing a fight with me. I simply walked out of their way and then the guy stormed me. Knowing my skills and strength I simply tried keeping distance while the guy stormed me. Guy ended up tearing my shirt and getting a few hits in until security eventually stepped in. Can't help but feel I shouldn't have interacted at all, but if I don't I'd have regretted not stepping in for a guy who was clearly not able to do so for himself... Sometimes you never win.
