if you don't have prior knowledge, you probably won't succeed at fully completing even the easiest CTF rooms, you should only do those when you have solid experience with Linux, Nmap, a few other tools and pentesting

The attack box for me at least is a bit slow with nmap so if it keeps timing out for you, you could look into getting a VM

Also if you scan all ports, that would take time.

Yes, if you're a free user you only get an hour but if you get a Kali VM you'll be able to connect via that to give you more time

also the target machines are only online for 2 hours unless you extend them

It takes two arguments, a username, and target.

It randomly rolls a new pw, configures the username pw on target, then stores it in a warehouse after aes encryption.

I've got poc's to update passwords over SSH, and MySQL... wondering what other things i should try to leverage. Maybe custom password for a sub database in sql?
