You can probably get CC, Sec+ etc., but lot of the requirements are theoretical. THM teaches them mostly passively, so take CC which is free 1st attempt only if you live next to training center. I think you can do CC, I have it, was extremely elementary.

Luc - the main issue you'll run into with that approach is what we call the 'HR filter'. Big companies who need an SOC analyst (for example, could be any job), would just ask their HR department to find someone. Then head of the computery part of the business would then give HR a list of qualifications and certs that they would expect the applicant to have. If someone doesn't have that cert or qualification, HR would reject them. Even if you include a list of all your accomplishments on every training platform - The HR person probably has no idea what they mean.

All of these things are about making yourself more employable.
You can get jobs with no experience and a terrible CV/resume but it's less likely
